From the time of foundation in 1993 line-up of this Russian group changed few time. Music changed too... If first works were in thrash metal style, first album - death metal, so now we have melodic death metal with beautiful symphonic keyboards. I must say, that guys finally found "their style". Album is pretty good. And if take into account, that it was recorded at home studio, it's great!
   Some people compare DOWN SYNDROME with DIMMU BORGIR. Hmm. I disagree. Role of guitars in songs of Russians is much more important and of course here you will not hear orchestra. ANd also "syndromers" didn't have mystic and dark pseudonyms with titles "duke" or "count". Minus of DOWN SYNDROME - drummer with strange name Fruity Loops 3.0.1. :) Sometimes computer drums aren't quite strong, so guys, I think, should find a real, live drummer with more human name.
   Summary? Do you want summary? Well, "Pressure of Melodic Death and atmosphere of Black mixed here in harmonic proportions!" But these are only words. It's impossible to describe music perfectly with words, you have to hear it...
