IN FLAMES Reroute To Remain

The sixth album of great melodic death metal band from Sweden In Flames is in my arms. What do have we here for this time?
Hmm...Something is wrong with the cover picture. Where is the logo? No logo, only letters. But picture is professional. Hand of Niklas Sundin from Dark Tranquillity is recognized.
During the listening I began to uderstand, that this is not only change. Hey you, who said, that band's sound doesn't develope? What can you say now? Quite big count of songs (14!) with more brutal sound. But you can hear more clear voices, some electronic features. I can say, that style of this album is melodic death/thrash. Except two songs. The thirteens composition 'Metafor' is (don't fall from the chair) progressive rock. And the last song 'Black & White' is thrash.
Some metal fans will say, that In Flames want money and became more pop, other - that album is fantastic. I say, that band doesn't stay on one place (as it was by last 2 albums) and that's great! That's why album gets high mark. Maybe some In Flames fans will don't like new album. So, what can I say. Don't buy 'Reroute To Remain', listen to the 'Colony' and 'Clayman'.
