There is music for a soul, There is music for your mind.
SHERINIAN Mythology is a good example of the second. This
Instrumental Solo-album of the celebrated keyboarder (who
was a participant of Dream Theater and Planet X) is full of
dynamics, melody and craft. Being the defender of different
analog squeaks and whistles SHERINIAN used of the full
collection of them. At the same time invited musicians
created wonderful metal-Arrangement. Solo is especially
Magnificent, almost not distinguishable from guitar solo (by
the way in the list of visitors appeared Zakk Wylde). Vocal
was used but it is more in sample variant. This way at the
beginning " The River Song " you can hear the voice of
unnamed Bob Marley with the Jamaican accent. In " El
Flamingo Suave " it is possible to hear the African drums.
As a whole the disk would be appropriate as a soundtrack to
any documentary film.
