JUDAS PRIEST have announced the release of "The Best Of Judas Priest," a career-spanning compilation arriving June 19, 2026 via Sony Music. Celebrating more than five decades of one of heavy metal's most illustrious and enduring careers — over 50 million albums sold and 2.5 billion global streams — the collection features 16 tracks on CD and 10 on a gatefold vinyl edition.
The CD tracklist opens with "You've Got Another Thing Coming" and moves through "Lightning Strike," "Breaking The Law," "Beyond The Realms Of Death," "Painkiller," "Hell Bent For Leather," "Rocka Rolla," "Turbo Lover," "Electric Eye," "Crown Of Horns," "Living After Midnight," "Night Crawler," "Heading Out To The Highway," "Better By You Better Than Me," "The Sentinel," and "Diamonds And Rust." It is a compilation that reflects the remarkable breadth of JUDAS PRIEST's catalog — from the proto-metal thunder of "Rocka Rolla" (1974) to the sleek power metal of "Painkiller" (1990) and the latter-era power of "Crown Of Horns" (2024).
The vinyl edition features a tighter 10-track selection across two sides: "You've Got Another Thing Coming," "Breaking The Law," "Painkiller," "Hell Bent For Leather," "Turbo Lover," "Electric Eye," "Crown Of Horns," "Living After Midnight," "Heading Out To The Highway," and "The Sentinel" — an essential distillation of the band's essence for the format.
JUDAS PRIEST — Rob Halford (vocals), Ian Hill (bass), Richie Faulkner and Andy Sneap (guitars), Scott Travis (drums) — continue to perform and record at a level that defies their combined decades of experience. Halford's voice in particular remains one of the most extraordinary instruments in rock music, equally recognisable and powerful today as it was on the "British Steel" recordings in 1980.
The compilation's release comes as JUDAS PRIEST continue their European summer touring schedule, with appearances including Bloodstock festival on August 9 and a headline show at Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith on September 21. The band also feature in "The Ballad Of Judas Priest," a new documentary directed by Tom Morello and Sam Dunn, which premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival earlier this year.
Whether approaching JUDAS PRIEST for the first time or returning to a catalog that has provided the soundtrack to a lifetime of heavy music, "The Best Of Judas Priest" offers a definitive entry point into one of metal's greatest legacies. June 19 is the date.
