I can't but admire these Dutch. Their music is far from metal but Aneke's smile is seen on covers of world best metal magazines. Still THE GATHERING have their own distinct way and they have no rivals. New long play "Sleepy Buildings" justifies the truism again. Of course we should not be waiting for extreme heavy drive, we should relax, slightly rocking. Aneke and Co perform nice trip rock lullabies. "Sleeping Buildings" will give grounds to cry for a while. He album has autumn sadness and slowness. Brilliant studio sound makes us forget about live origin of the CD and I can highly recommend the album to
   anyone willing to know late THE GATHERING creativity at its best.
