Well-well, and what do we got here? We got a demo-CD of Italian band called HELLWRATH. According to the cover of this CD I made a conclusion that this band may play death or trash metal. Really the band plays techno trash-death. The influence of MORBID ANGEL and, of course, the trash of 80-s is felt in the sound.
As for the issue of performance, I need to mark the quality of playing – it is good and clean, guitar sounding is great, the phonation of bass-guitar is also good, drums resound in the old trash-metal manner and only sometimes the speed of playing begin to increase to the level of not very strong blast-beat. Some guitar-solos can be heard during listening to this demo. These guys try to do their best and I advise them not to give up.
I think that many lovers of death or trash metal will be pleased with this band, but, it’s a piti that this group has only one demo-CD.
