AMORTIS

AMORTIS was an Austrian black/death metal band from Gutau, active from 1996 to 2002. During their relatively brief career they carved out a dark niche in the Austrian extreme underground, channeling themes of death, suicide, and dreams into their uncompromising extreme metal. The band dissolved in 2002, leaving behind a body of work that documents a short but committed creative period.
