ANCIENT

ANCIENT is a Norwegian melodic black metal band from Bergen, founded in 1992. One of the second-wave black metal scene's more atmospheric and melodic acts, they blended classic Norwegian black metal aggression with gothic and romantic elements, later incorporating vampiric and horror imagery. Their debut "Svartalvheim" is regarded as an underground classic of the genre. Signed to Soulseller Records, ANCIENT continue to release material with mainman Aphazel at the creative helm.
