ANTHENORA is an Italian heavy/power metal band from Saluzzo in the Cuneo province, founded in 1989. One of the more tenacious acts in the Italian power metal scene, they have maintained a consistent output across decades, delivering classically-rooted heavy metal with a focus on warfare, violence, and fantasy themes. Signed to Punishment 18 Records, they represent a reliable if unflashy presence in the Italian underground. ANTHENORA remain active, carrying the banner of traditional heavy metal.
