ASHEN LIGHT is a russian folk/black metal band from moscow, formed in 1997. One of the long-standing acts on the russian black metal scene, they have evolved from pagan and folk-infused black metal toward a more satanic direction, always retaining a distinctly russian sensibility. Released through More Hate Productions, their extensive catalogue traces the evolution of one of russia's most prolific underground metal acts. ASHEN LIGHT remain active and committed to their dark artistic vision.
