BEHEMOTH

BEHEMOTH are a Polish black/death metal band from Gdańsk, founded in 1991. Under the unwavering leadership of vocalist and guitarist Adam "Nergal" Darski, they evolved from raw black metal into one of the most sophisticated and extreme black/death metal acts on the planet. Their magnum opus "The Satanist" (2014) received universal critical acclaim. Rooted in Thelema, Satanism, blasphemy, and historical occultism, their confrontational art is backed by world-class technical musicianship. Signed to Metal Blade and later Mystic Production for domestic releases, BEHEMOTH are Poland's most internationally celebrated extreme metal export.
