BLACK LABEL SOCIETY is the Southern/groove metal band led by American guitarist and vocalist Zakk Wylde, founded in Los Angeles in 1998. Long-time guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne, Wylde channeled his hard-living, biker-influenced philosophy into BLS — delivering crushing, riff-heavy metal that deals with personal struggles, war, alcohol, death, religion, and drugs. Signed to MNRK Heavy, their extensive discography documents Wylde's singular commitment to loud, emotionally direct heavy metal. BLS remain one of America's most beloved heavy metal institutions.
