BLACKMORE'S NIGHT is the Renaissance rock and folk rock project founded in 1997 by legendary guitarist Ritchie Blackmore — formerly of DEEP PURPLE and RAINBOW — and vocalist Candice Night. A radical departure from Blackmore's hard rock legacy, the project immerses itself in medieval lute music, Renaissance folk, and soft acoustic melodies, with Night's ethereal vocals at the centre. Their many albums paint a world of castles, forests, and timeless romance. BLACKMORE'S NIGHT remain one of rock's most enchanting and distinctive side projects.
