CROWNTHORN

CROWNTHORN were a russian technical melodic death/black metal band from nizhny novgorod, active from 1998 to 2003. One of the more technically ambitious acts in the city's early 2000s underground, they applied melodic death and black metal frameworks to complex compositional structures. Despite their short lifespan, they were documented in interviews of the era as a significant local act. The band split up in 2003.
