CRYPTOPSY are a Canadian brutal/technical death metal band from Montréal, formed in 1992. Regarded as one of the most technically accomplished extreme metal bands in existence, their landmark album "None So Vile" (1996) with vocalist Lord Worm is universally cited as a masterpiece of brutal, chaotic death metal. Signed to Season of Mist, their extensive catalogue spans multiple vocal eras and stylistic phases while maintaining their commitment to extreme technicality. CRYPTOPSY remain one of Canada's greatest metal exports.
