GOREFEST

GOREFEST were a Dutch death metal band from Goes, active from 1989 to 2009. One of the most celebrated and versatile death metal acts in European history, they began with raw, grinding death metal before evolving through the legendary "death 'n' roll" phase that spawned "False" and "Soul Survivor" — albums that polarized but ultimately enriched the death metal conversation. Their later works returned to a heavier approach. Though the band finally dissolved in 2009, their influence on European death metal remains enormous.
