HOLY MOSES are a German speed/thrash metal band from Aachen, formed in 1980. Fronted by the ferocious vocalist Sabina Classen — one of extreme metal's earliest and most powerful female voices — they helped pioneer German thrash and speed metal alongside the genre's founding acts. Their debut "Queen of Siam" and subsequent releases are seminal documents of European extreme metal. The band has since split up but their legacy in the genesis of thrash metal remains significant.
