HOUWITSER are a Dutch brutal death metal band from Amersfoort, formed in 1997. Rooted in the American brutal death tradition, they deliver dense, technically proficient brutality dealing with pain, war, and gore. Released on Vidar Records, they have maintained a presence in the Dutch extreme metal underground across several decades. HOUWITSER remain active, sustaining their punishing death metal assault.
