KAMELOT are an American progressive/melodic power metal band from Tampa, Florida, formed in 1987. Under the creative partnership of guitarist Thomas Youngblood and — for their pivotal years — vocalist Roy Khan, they became one of the most artistically accomplished and emotionally resonant power metal bands in the world. Albums like "Epica", "The Black Halo", and "Ghost Opera" are genre masterpieces of philosophical depth and melodic sophistication. With current vocalist Tommy Karevik, KAMELOT continue on Napalm Records as one of power metal's most respected acts.
