KOTIPELTO is a Finnish power metal solo project by STRATOVARIUS vocalist Timo Kotipelto. Combining classic power metal songwriting with melodic sensibility and Kotipelto's powerful vocals, the project allows him to explore musical ideas outside the STRATOVARIUS framework. Their albums showcase straightforward, melodic European power metal craftsmanship.
