LONGING FOR DAWN were a Canadian funeral doom metal band from Montréal, active from 2002 to 2010. Channeling dreams, emotions, and desires into glacially slow, immersive funeral doom of substantial emotional weight, they were a respected presence in the North American doom underground. The band split up in 2010, leaving two albums as their testament.
