MARDUK are a Swedish black metal band from Norrköping, formed in 1990. One of the most prolific and uncompromising black metal bands in the world, their hyper-blasting assault — particularly the legendary "Panzer Division Marduk" — pushed the genre to its absolute velocity limit. Themes of Satanism, anti-Christianity, blasphemy, death, war, and World War II military history have run through their vast catalogue. Signed to Century Media, MARDUK remain one of the most furious and respected acts in black metal.
