MORBID ANGEL are an American death metal band from Tampa, Florida, formed in 1984. Arguably the most important band in the history of death metal, their first three albums — "Altars of Madness", "Blessed Are the Sick", "Covenant" — are among the most technically accomplished and sonically devastating extreme metal records ever made.
