NORTHER

NORTHER were a Finnish melodic death/power metal band from Helsinki and Espoo, active from 2000 to 2012. Blending the aggression of Gothenburg melodic death metal with the melodic accessibility of Finnish power metal, they built a strong domestic following across six studio albums. Their lyrical themes of love, death, night, darkness, sadness, and hate were delivered with considerable emotional conviction. The band split up in 2012.
