ORPHANAGE

ORPHANAGE was a Dutch gothic, doom, and death metal band from Amsterdam, formed in 1993. Combining elements of Gothic metal, doom metal, and melodic death metal with groove influences, they developed a distinctive, melancholic sound that placed them among the better-known acts of the Dutch extreme metal scene. Active until 2005, their albums remain respected entries in the gothic/doom metal genre.
