PAN.THY.MONIUM was a Swedish progressive and avant-garde death metal band formed in 1990 by members of EDGE OF SANITY including Dan Swanö. Known for their highly experimental, jazz-influenced approach to death metal, they defied convention with complex, shapeshifting compositions. Though they disbanded in 1996 after just a few releases, they remain a celebrated cult act in the history of experimental death metal.
