Los Angeles, 🇺🇸United States Formed in 1975 On hold

RAINBOW are a British-American hard rock and heavy metal band from Los Angeles, formed in 1975 by guitarist Ritchie Blackmore following his departure from DEEP PURPLE. Through three distinct vocal eras — Ronnie James Dio, Graham Bonnet, and Joe Lynn Turner — they explored fantasy-driven hard rock and power ballads, leaving a catalogue of enduring classics including "Man on the Silver Mountain", "Long Live Rock 'n' Roll", and "Since You Been Gone". Currently on hold, RAINBOW's legacy as a pioneering force in hard rock and power metal is immense.
