SECRETS OF THE MOON is a German black metal band from Osnabrück, formed in 1995. Beginning as a raw, atmospheric black metal act, they evolved through the years toward a more gothic and post-metal influenced sound while retaining a dark, hypnotic core. Their evolution has been one of the more artistically ambitious in the German black metal scene.
