SKYFIRE are a Swedish melodic death/progressive/power metal band from Höör, formed in 1995. Praised for their dense, technically advanced compositions that blend the melodic death metal of Gothenburg with progressive and power metal elements, they have earned a reputation as one of Sweden's most sophisticated melodic extreme metal acts. Releasing material independently, their catalogue deals with depression, inner struggles, enlightenment, and introspection with uncommon musical depth. SKYFIRE remain active.
