SKYFORGER are a Latvian pagan/folk black metal band from Riga, formed in 1995. One of the most nationally committed metal acts in the Baltic states, they dedicate their music exclusively to Latvian history, mythological battles, Latvian paganism, and the ancient folk heritage of their homeland. Signed to Thunderforge Records, their catalogue is a proud celebration of Latvian identity through the language of extreme metal. SKYFORGER remain active.
