STRATOVARIUS

STRATOVARIUS are a Finnish melodic power metal band from Helsinki, formed in 1985. One of the most influential and successful power metal bands in the world, their defining albums — "Visions", "Destiny", "Infinite" — established the keyboard-driven, double-bass-powered melodic power metal sound that defined the late 1990s European metal scene. After years of internal conflict and near-dissolution, the band stabilized under guitarist Matias Kupiainen and continues to record. Signed to earMUSIC, STRATOVARIUS remain one of Finland's most treasured metal institutions.
