SUSPERIA are a Norwegian melodic black/thrash metal band from Haslum, formed in 2000. Founded by former DIMMU BORGIR members Shagrath (briefly) and Tjodalv, alongside vocalist Athera, they evolved from a more raw black metal sound into a sophisticated, melodic thrash/extreme metal direction. Signed to Agonia Records, their catalogue documents a band that balanced extreme metal credentials with melodic ambition. SUSPERIA remain active.
