TANKARD is a thrash metal band from Frankfurt, Germany, formed in 1982. One of the "Big Four" of German thrash alongside Kreator, Sodom, and Destruction, they are renowned for beer-themed lyrics delivered with relentless speed and aggression. With over a dozen studio albums, they remain one of the most active and beloved acts in the classic thrash metal genre.
