THE GHOULSTARS

THE GHOULSTARS are a Finnish horror punk supergroup formed in 2021, born from a shared obsession with classic metal, old-school punk, and cult B-horror cinema. The band unites veterans of the Finnish underground: guitarist Markus "Daddy Ghoul" Laakso (Kuolemanlaakso), vocalist Arthur "LL Ghoul A" Thure, bassist Markus "Hellaghoul" Makkonen (Hooded Menace), and drummer Toni "Ghoulio" Ronkainen. Their debut full-length "The Dark Overlords of the Universe" (Season of Mist, 2026) is a love letter to teenage metal and horror fandom—headbanging riffs, shout-along choruses, and a relentless barrage of ‘80s monster movie easter eggs.
