VITAL REMAINS is an American death metal band from Providence, Rhode Island, formed in 1988. One of the longest-running and most extreme acts in American death metal, they combine blast-beat ferocity with Satanic and anti-Christian lyrical themes. Their collaboration with DEICIDE vocalist Glen Benton on the album "Icons of Evil" brought them wider recognition within the extreme metal community.
