ZYKLON is a Norwegian industrial death and black metal band from Notodden, formed in 1998 by members of EMPEROR and GORGOROTH. Combining the precision of industrial death metal with black metal atmosphere and themes of anti-religion, misanthropy, and philosophy, they released several acclaimed albums before going on extended hiatus in 2010. Their work stands as an important bridge between Norwegian black metal legacy and modern extreme metal.
