moscow-based melodic metal band ANDEM have revealed the cover art for their new album "Daughter of Moonlight," scheduled for release on the Irond label on April 5. The artwork was created by renowned st. petersburg designer Arseny "A-Ra" Myshtsyn ([AMATORY], BeZumnye Usiliya, Icon In Me, and others).
The album "Daughter of Moonlight" was recorded during the winter of 2008/2009 at several moscow studios; sound production, mixing, and mastering were handled by German sound engineer Andy Horn (Edenbridge, KING DIAMOND, Darkseed). Special guests on the recording include Artem Styrov ("Styrov," ex-"Mavrik") and Ilya "Eel-A" Aleksandrov ("Fear Factor"). According to the ANDEM musicians, the new album surpasses their debut "Pendulum of Life" in every respect, as listeners will be able to judge for themselves from the first internet single, due online on March 16. The single will be one of the ten tracks comprising the final tracklist:
- Principium et Fons
- Keeper of Swords
- Daughter of Moonlight
- Midnight Guest
- Righteous Ones of Light
- Road to Pandemonium
- The Master and Margarita
- Prayer
- Goths March on Rome
- Songs of Sandstorms
The album release party for "Daughter of Moonlight" will take place on release day — April 5 — as part of the Iron Blast festival, where alongside ANDEM, Everlost (presenting their new album "Eclectics"), Doroga Vodana, Silvana, and others will also perform.
