Fan excitement is building rapidly for BLACK LABEL SOCIETY's twelfth album "Engines of Demolition," due March 27, following the release of the "Name in Blood" single and video on January 14 — Zakk Wylde's 59th birthday. The track, directed by Justin H. Reich, features eBow textures from Wylde and co-guitarist Dario Lorina that morph into a grimy, anthemic hard rock charge, showcasing the full dynamic range that has made BLS one of heavy metal's most reliable forces for a quarter century.

Wylde, who first rose to fame as OZZY OSBOURNE's guitarist at the age of 20 and has since built BLACK LABEL SOCIETY into a brand synonymous with no-frills heavy riffing and Southern-fried swagger, sounds reinvigorated on the new material. The "Name in Blood" video captures the band in a dimly lit warehouse, delivering the kind of visceral, stripped-down performance that recalls BLS at their rawest. The song's lyrics explore themes of loyalty and sacrifice, topics that have long been central to Wylde's writing.

The album features 13 tracks including the Ozzy Osbourne tribute "Ozzy's Song," which Wylde calls his most heartfelt ballad — a deeply personal thank-you to the man who launched his career and remains one of his closest friends. Other pre-release singles, including "Broken and Blind" and the crushing "Demolition Man," have showcased the album's range from tender balladry to full-throttle metal. A North American tour launches February 27 in San Antonio, with tickets selling strongly across all dates. Wylde has also hinted at special guest appearances at select shows, fuelling speculation about potential Ozzy collaborations on stage.
