Swedish Heavy Metallers BULLET Drop New Album "Kickstarter" via Steamhammer

Swedish heavy metal outfit BULLET have released their new album "Kickstarter" today via Steamhammer/SPV, delivering another round of unapologetically classic heavy metal built on the twin pillars of iron-fisted riffs and sky-high vocals. The band, hailing from Växjö and formed in 2001, have spent over two decades carving out a niche as one of Europe's most reliable purveyors of the traditional metal sound pioneered by ACCEPT, JUDAS PRIEST and early SCORPIONS.

Frontman Dag "Hell" Hofer's vocal delivery remains one of BULLET's greatest assets — a piercing, Udo Dirkschneider-influenced howl that cuts through the mix like a sharpened axe. Guitarists Hampus Klang and Alexander Lyrbo continue to trade harmonized leads and chunky rhythm parts in the grand tradition of twin-guitar heavy metal, while the rhythm section locks into a groove that never sacrifices power for technicality. The album's title track is a fist-pumping anthem that encapsulates everything BULLET do best: hooks, heaviness and an infectious energy that translates perfectly to the live arena.

"Kickstarter" arrives alongside today's other notable releases from ALTER BRIDGE, BEYOND THE BLACK, and IOTUNN, making January 9 one of the most stacked release days of the young year. While BULLET may not command the same mainstream recognition as their more famous peers, they have cultivated a devoted international following through relentless touring and a discography that never wavers from its core mission.

BULLET are expected to hit the European festival circuit hard in summer 2026 to support the new material. Their high-voltage live show — built on audience interaction, headbanging energy and a setlist heavy on anthems — has made them a perennial favorite at events like Sweden Rock, Bang Your Head and Keep It True.
