Ukrainian metal act JINJER will launch their European "Duel" tour on January 23 in Cologne, their first European headline run in over six years. The extended absence from European headline touring makes this return all the more significant for a band that built much of their international reputation on the continent's festival circuit and club scene. Support comes from the recently reunited Dutch progressive metal band TEXTURES and the virtuosic German act UNPROCESSED, creating a three-band package that unites three generations of progressive metal on one stage.

The tour runs through early March, hitting major cities including London, Paris, Berlin, Madrid, Warsaw, Helsinki, Stockholm, and Copenhagen. JINJER continue to support their dynamic album "Duel," released in February 2025 via Napalm Records, which showcased vocalist Tatiana Shmayluk's extraordinary range and the band's ability to seamlessly blend groove metal, progressive metal, and djent with elements of jazz fusion and folk. Shmayluk's vocal technique — shifting between guttural death growls and ethereal clean singing, often within the same phrase — remains one of the most distinctive and impressive in modern metal.

The inclusion of TEXTURES on the support bill is a major draw for progressive metal fans. The Dutch band, who pioneered the djent movement alongside MESHUGGAH and PERIPHERY before disbanding in 2018, are using this tour to reintroduce themselves to European audiences ahead of their comeback album "Genotype." UNPROCESSED add another layer of technical excellence to a bill that promises to be one of early 2026's most musically adventurous touring packages, making it essential viewing for fans who value virtuosity and innovation in heavy music.
