TRIUMPH drummer and vocalist Gil Moore has confirmed that both he and guitarist Rik Emmett will be performing throughout every show on the band's upcoming 2026 50th anniversary reunion tour — their first full-fledged outing since 1993. In a new interview published on January 29, Moore directly addressed fan concerns about the extent of the original members' participation, stating unequivocally: "As far as Rik and I are concerned, unless we get hit by a bus, we will be on the bus. We will be at every show. We will be playing all the way through every show."

The Canadian hard rock legends' tour announcement has generated significant excitement among fans who initially feared a partial or limited reunion format — a concern fueled by reunion tours from other classic rock acts that have featured founding members in reduced roles. Moore's emphatic commitment to full participation puts those worries to rest.

The 2026 tour kicks off on April 22 in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, and runs through June 6 in Boston, comprising 10 Canadian arena dates and 14 American city stops. The classic lineup of Emmett, Moore, and bassist Mike Levine — whose participation will be as his health permits — will be augmented by a supporting cast that includes guitarist Phil X, drummer and keyboardist Brent Fitz, and bassist Todd Kerns, all of whom bring significant hard rock credentials.

TRIUMPH's catalog of anthemic hard rock — including timeless tracks like "Lay It on the Line," "Magic Power," "Fight the Good Fight," and "Allied Forces" — has remained a staple of classic rock radio for decades. The band's influence on Canadian rock is immeasurable, and their reunion arrives at a moment when nostalgia for late '70s and early '80s hard rock is at an all-time high, with RUSH's recent reunion further stoking Canadian rock reunion fever.

Full tour dates and ticket information are expected to be formally announced in the coming days, with pre-sale access available through the band's official website.
