DETHKLOK have announced spring 2026 U.S. headlining shows, kicking off April 26 at Aragon Ballroom in Chicago with additional stops in Los Angeles, Seattle, Portland, and San Diego. The fictional-turned-real metal act created by Brendon Small will also co-headline "The Amonklok Conquest" North American tour with Swedish melodic death metal titans AMON AMARTH from April 15 through May 21, with Brooklyn-based heavy metal upstarts CASTLE RAT as special guests on all dates.

This historic pairing marks the first time DETHKLOK and AMON AMARTH have shared a bill, and the tour celebrates the 20th anniversary of "Metalocalypse," the Adult Swim animated series that birthed the fictional band and subsequently made them one of metal's most unlikely success stories. What began as a cartoon parody of death metal excess became a genuine musical force, with DETHKLOK's albums charting on the Billboard 200 and their live shows selling out major venues across the country. The animated series itself became a cult phenomenon, spawning a feature film and developing a massive dedicated fanbase.

Bringing the beloved larger-than-life characters of DETHKLOK to life once again will be Metalocalypse mastermind Brendon Small on guitar and vocals. Behind the kit sits legendary extreme metal drummer Gene Hoglan, whose staggering resume includes pivotal work with DEATH, DARK ANGEL, TESTAMENT, STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, and FEAR FACTORY -- making him one of the most respected drummers in metal history. Bassist Pete Griffin, known for his work with Steve Vai, Paul Gilbert, and Zakk Wylde, handles the low end, while guitar shredder Nili Brosh, who has toured with Danny Elfman and released acclaimed solo material, provides additional six-string firepower.

Presale tickets became available via Citi starting February 17, with general on-sale February 20. Both bands will also make thunderous festival appearances at Welcome To Rockville in Daytona Beach and Sonic Temple in Columbus during the run, adding even more weight to an already stacked spring touring season. Major stops on the co-headlining run include Brooklyn, Toronto, Atlanta, Denver, and Las Vegas.
