EXODUS have unveiled the complete tracklist for "Goliath," their highly anticipated twelfth studio album arriving March 20 via Napalm Records, and the 10-song lineup reveals an ambitious record that pushes the boundaries of what a thrash metal album can be. The tracks are: "3111," "Hostis Humani Generis," "The Changing Me," "Promise You This," "Goliath," "Beyond The Event Horizon," "2 Minutes Hate," "Violence Works," "Summon Of The God Unknown," and "The Dirtiest Of The Dozen."
The guest list alone signals the album's stylistic range. Peter Tagtgren — the Swedish multi-instrumentalist and producer known for his work with HYPOCRISY and PAIN, as well as his production credits on albums by DIMMU BORGIR, IMMORTAL, and CHILDREN OF BODOM — contributes to the record, though the exact nature of his involvement has not yet been specified. Violinist Katie Jacoby, who gained mainstream recognition through her work with THE WHO and has since become an in-demand collaborator in the rock and metal world, adds orchestral textures that expand the album's sonic palette far beyond traditional thrash metal parameters.
The album marks EXODUS's first studio recording with returning vocalist Rob Dukes since 2010's "Exhibit B: The Human Condition." Dukes rejoined the band in early 2025 following the departure of Steve "Zetro" Souza, and his more guttural, aggressive vocal style has clearly influenced the direction of the songwriting. Guitarist Gary Holt, the band's creative linchpin since their founding in 1979, described "Goliath" as the most diverse and anthemic release in the band's catalog — a bold claim for a discography that includes thrash landmarks like "Bonded by Blood" and "Fabulous Disaster."
The album title itself is telling. Where EXODUS have traditionally favored aggressive, confrontational album names, "Goliath" suggests something grander in scope — a statement of towering ambition from a band entering their fifth decade with renewed creative fire. The March 20 release date coincides with the opening night of EXODUS's European tour with KREATOR, CARCASS, and NAILS, ensuring maximum impact for the album's arrival.
