METAL CHURCH have released the official music video for "Brainwash Game," the second single from their upcoming 13th studio album "Dead To Rights," due April 10 via Rat Pak Records. The track follows the debut single "F.A.F.O.," which has already surpassed 400,000 views on YouTube since its release last November, signaling strong fan enthusiasm for the band's new direction and revamped lineup.

Founding guitarist Kurdt Vanderhoof described the track as "really about the machinery behind the curtain" and how "the modern media cycle twists, filters, and repackages truth to fit whatever narrative sells the most clicks." The lyrical theme reflects Vanderhoof's long-standing interest in social commentary, a thread that has run through METAL CHURCH's work since their self-titled 1984 debut -- an album that helped define the American power metal sound alongside contemporaries like QUEENSRYCHE, SAVATAGE, and FATES WARNING.

The album marks the debut of a revamped lineup featuring former MEGADETH bassist David Ellefson, powerhouse drummer Ken Mary -- whose impressive resume includes stints with ALICE COOPER, HOUSE OF LORDS, and FIFTH ANGEL -- and dynamic new vocalist Brian Allen alongside Vanderhoof and longtime guitarist Rick Van Zandt. Ellefson has spoken glowingly about the collaboration, calling the record "something I'm extremely proud of" and praising the creative freedom Vanderhoof offered during the recording sessions.

"Dead To Rights" was produced by Vanderhoof himself, maintaining the hands-on approach that has defined METAL CHURCH's catalog. From the aggressive opening assault of "Brainwash Game" to the riff-driven finale "My Wrath," the album promises to prove that METAL CHURCH still possess the same relentless drive that has earned them a devoted following for over four decades. The band has already announced festival appearances for 2026 and plans for extensive touring behind the new record, signaling that this incarnation of METAL CHURCH is built for the long haul.
