PUSCIFER have shared additional preview tracks from "Normal Isn't" ahead of the album's February 6 release, offering fans a deeper look into the darkest and most guitar-driven territory the project has explored to date. The new snippets reveal a band that has shed much of the electronic and ambient textures of previous albums in favor of a raw, post-punk-infused approach that channels the formative musical influences of Maynard James Keenan, Mat Mitchell, and Carina Round.

The 11-track album represents a dramatic evolution for PUSCIFER, whose previous work often leaned into quirky electronica and desert-rock atmospherics. "Normal Isn't" pushes into genuinely abrasive sonic territory, with distorted guitars and driving rhythms taking center stage. The album features remarkable contributions from TOOL's Danny Carey on drums — bringing his characteristically complex, polyrhythmic approach to a very different musical context — and legendary bassist Tony Levin, whose work with KING CRIMSON and Peter Gabriel has made him one of the most respected bass players in progressive music history.

Levin's involvement in particular has generated significant buzz, as his melodic, textural bass work adds a dimension to PUSCIFER's sound that elevates the material beyond typical rock territory. Keenan's vocals, meanwhile, explore a more vulnerable and introspective register than his work with TOOL or A PERFECT CIRCLE, lending the songs an intimacy that contrasts powerfully with the aggressive instrumentation.

A companion film titled "Normal Isn't: Live at the Pacific Stock Exchange" arrives February 9 as a visual counterpart to the studio album, promising a cinematic live experience that will showcase the new material in a theatrical setting befitting PUSCIFER's reputation for boundary-pushing multimedia presentations.
