SHINEDOWN have officially announced their upcoming eighth studio album "Ei8ht," arriving May 29 via Atlantic Records as the follow-up to 2022's "Planet Zero," which debuted at number one on Billboard's Top Rock Albums chart. The album, more than a year in the making, was produced entirely by bassist Eric Bass, making it a deeply personal and collaborative project that reflects the band's continued evolution.

Alongside the album announcement, the band unveiled the "Dance Kid Dance Act II World Tour," a mammoth 54-date trek spanning eleven countries. The tour launches May 13 in Green Bay, Wisconsin and spans the U.S., Canada, the United Kingdom, and Europe through late November. Support comes from an eclectic roster including COHEED AND CAMBRIA, BLACK STONE CHERRY, FROM ASHES TO NEW, DJ ROCK FEED, and Welsh rockers THOSE DAMN CROWS on select dates.

A new single, "Safe and Sound" — the fifth taste of the album following three U.S. radio number-one hits ("Three Six Five," "Dance, Kid, Dance," and "Killing Fields") plus "Searchlight," which the band memorably debuted at the Grand Ole Opry — dropped alongside the announcement. The eighteen-track record promises to be SHINEDOWN's most expansive work yet, building on the politically charged themes of "Planet Zero" while exploring more personal territory.

Public ticket sales began today, February 20, at 10 a.m. local time via Live Nation. SHINEDOWN have also announced their own festival, Lunatic Ball, a weekend beach bash set for October 23-25 in Miramar Beach, Florida, featuring two headlining performances alongside BUSH, FLYLEAF with Lacey Sturm, LIVING COLOUR, and more. With over ten billion total streams and a record-breaking 21 number-one singles at Active Rock radio, SHINEDOWN continue to demonstrate why they remain one of the biggest acts in modern rock.
