SPIRIT ADRIFT have released "Eternal Celestial Energy," a new standalone single that arrives as the band prepares for what they have confirmed will be their final concert performance on March 20, alongside Crowbar, Eyehategod, and Black Magnet.
The track is quintessential Spirit Adrift: riff-forward, melodic, and drenched in classic metal spirit — a fitting statement from a band that spent a decade producing some of the most earnest heavy music of the 2010s and early 2020s. Frontman Nate Garrett has not elaborated publicly on the reasons for the band's conclusion beyond describing March 20 as "a proper ending."
"Eternal Celestial Energy" is available on all streaming platforms now. The final show takes place at Mohawk in Austin, Texas.
