BEHEMOTH have unveiled "The Godless IV Tour", a spring North American headline run that reads like a dream lineup for extreme metal devotees. The 26-date trek launches April 14 in San Diego and wraps up May 21 in Los Angeles, with support from death metal legends DEICIDE, Greek black metal pioneers ROTTING CHRIST, and New York death metal institution IMMOLATION.
The tour supports BEHEMOTH's latest album "The Shit Ov God", released via Nuclear Blast Records, which has been hailed as one of the Polish band's most ambitious and uncompromising works to date. Frontman Nergal expressed his enthusiasm for the stacked bill in a statement: "This is a convergence of legends, a true communion of extreme metal's most resolute forces."
The routing includes stops at Welcome to Rockville and Sonic Temple festivals, giving BEHEMOTH maximum exposure alongside their headline dates. The combination of Polish blackened death metal, Florida death metal royalty, Hellenic black metal atmosphere, and IMMOLATION's technical brutality creates a package that covers virtually every corner of the extreme metal spectrum.
For DEICIDE, the tour continues their renewed activity following recent lineup changes, while ROTTING CHRIST bring decades of atmospheric black metal mastery to the stage. IMMOLATION, long regarded as one of death metal's most consistent acts, round out what is shaping up to be one of the strongest extreme metal tour packages of the year.
Tickets for all dates are on sale now through the bands' respective websites and local venue outlets.
