ZAKK WYLDE's BLACK LABEL SOCIETY have released 'Engines of Demolition', their first studio album since 2021's 'Doom Crew Inc.', on March 27 via MNRK Heavy. The 15-track record arrives alongside the release of a music video for "Ozzy's Song" — a deeply personal tribute to the late, great Ozzy Osbourne, who passed away on July 22, 2025 from a heart attack compounded by Parkinson's disease.

The origins of "Ozzy's Song" are as poignant as the track itself. Wylde had spent several years stockpiling riffs and ideas for the new album, but the lyrics to this particular song came to him in a single sitting — late at night, in his home library, looking through a book about Ozzy. His wife overheard him playing it and said, simply, "That's Ozzy's song." The name stuck.

Wylde spoke about their nearly 40-year relationship: "Ozzy was like an older brother to me. Nobody else in my life comes close to what he meant. Writing this song was the only way I knew how to honour that."

'Engines of Demolition' was preceded by four singles: "Name in Blood," "Broken and Blind," "The Gallows," and "Lord Humungus." The album finds BLACK LABEL SOCIETY at their most varied — swinging between Wylde's trademark sludge-heavy riffs and moments of unexpected tenderness. The band is also performing a live cover of Ozzy's "No More Tears" on their current tour as an additional tribute, a performance they debuted at the BRIT Awards earlier this year.

Previously released singles: "Name in Blood", "Broken and Blind", "The Gallows", "Lord Humungus."
