Norwegian symphonic black metal titans DIMMU BORGIR have announced the premiere of an official music video for "Ulvgjeld & Blodsodel" — set to drop on March 26. The track will be the first taste of new original material from the band in eight years, serving as the lead single from their highly anticipated tenth studio album. The record was recorded, mixed, and mastered at Studio Fredman in Sweden with legendary producer Fredrik Nordström at the helm.

The upcoming single promises to showcase DIMMU BORGIR at their most grandiose, blending the band's signature symphonic orchestration with ferocious black metal intensity. If the preview material is anything to go by, "Ulvgjeld & Blodsodel" signals that the Norwegian icons have lost none of their ambition or sonic firepower during their extended absence from the studio.

The upcoming album — their first since 2018's "Eonian" — will be released via Nuclear Blast Records, with a title and release date yet to be officially revealed. The band's current lineup features new guitarist Kjell Åge "Damage" Karlsen, who previously played alongside vocalist Shagrath in CHROME DIVISION.

DIMMU BORGIR are also set to embark on the massive "In League With Satan" European co-headline tour with BEHEMOTH in October 2026, with DARK FUNERAL as special guests. The trek kicks off October 9 in Zurich and visits cities across Europe including Paris, Berlin, Stockholm, and Copenhagen through October 30. For fans who have waited nearly a decade, the return of DIMMU BORGIR promises to be one of 2026's defining moments in extreme metal.
